The Night consisted of a quality 3 course meal, live entertainment from various talented acts, a sports quiz, an auction full of top prizes including a signed Everton and Liverpool shirt and an in depth interview with BBCs own Football Focus presenter Dan Walker.

Not only did we design the promotional material for the nights events but we also got involved with the “half time” entertainment.

Kathryn Summers (a gifted singer, musician and friend) needed musicians to back her as she did an acoustic version of Kasabians Underdog. You can see her talented rendition in the video below.

This week, we were pleased to receive a phone call from DB Estates based on South Liverpool’s bustling Allerton Road to produce some literature for them.

It was that time of year again for valued client Attitude Men’s Hair. Every year they enter the Amercian Crew Face Off competition, a national men’s grooming and photographic competition organised by American Crew, the world’s leading manufacturer of professional male grooming products.

Face Off is a black and white photographic competition which aims to showcase the latest fashion styles for men and recognises some of the UK’s most talented and up-and-coming stylists. Last year’s competition attracted the attention of the men’s hairdressing industry and a record number of entries so it’s a pretty big deal in the Men’s grooming world.

Last night (Friday 23rd September) was the preparation for this years entry and I was fortunate enough to shadow award winning photographer Ian MacMichael as he shot the latest à la mode haircuts to come out of Attitude Men’s Hair salon.

Ian, fresh from being asked for the second time to appear in Vogue Magazine (well, his photo’s anyway), allowed me to tag along and capture the evening as it unfurled. A few test shots, pizza slices and bottles of beer later, we were all done and wrapped up ready to enter the photo’s and styles into this years competition.

Unfortunatly for obvious reasons I can’t unveil the shot’s of the styles. However, keep checking Ian MacMichael’s blog for the results of the competition and you just may get a glimpse of the styles after the results have been announced.

We’d like to wish Ian Harrold and his team from Attitude Men’s Hair all the best in this years competition.

1. Costs and Payments

1.1 You must pay all charges as set out in the Proposal. Price quote and cost estimates provided by Stylographic Design are only valid for a period of 30 days.

1.2 You will remain liable for all fees during any period when Services have been discontinued or suspended due to a failure on your part to comply with these terms and conditions.

1.3 You will be invoiced as agreed in your quote/proposal. All balances are payable before delivery of final design artwork or uploading of final files to live websites.

1.4 All invoices must be paid within 3 days. A late payment charge of £30 will be applicable for all payments not made on time. You are also liable to pay overdue interest at 5% per week on any amounts not paid. All intellectual property rights remain with Stylographic Design until payment.

1.5 You must pay Stylographic Design’s charges without any set off, counter claim or deduction unless it has been agreed, in writing, between us.

1.6 Stylographic Design reserves the right to prioritise early paying clients, and to charge urgency fees for turnaround within 5 working days.

1.7 Agreed Costing is conditional on your supplying data required for a Website Stage or completion deadline agreed within 10 working days of confirmation of your order. Stylographic Design reserves the right to revise the price if that condition is not met in line with charges applying at the relevant time.

1.8 No final design material or files will be delivered until final invoices are paid in full. Payment by cheque will involve waiting for clearance before the supply of files. Delivery being: Supply of final design digital files to printer, or on disk, or via email, or uploaded to a nominated ISP/Web server. Construction files, or code files, or script files remain the property of Stylographic Design.

1.9 Printer or ISP Liason is charged at our current rate per hour.

1.10 Quotations and proposals must be accepted in writing by letter, or fax, or email, or by signing the quotation or proposal. Acceptance of the quotation or proposal must be accompanied by a 50% deposit unless otherwise agreed.

1.11 Deposits can be made by credit card, cheque or direct bank transfer.

1.12 Design/Website work will not commence until the deposit has been received and cleared.

1.13 Where progress payments are staged in a quotation or proposal, they will fall due and payable as specified in the quotation or proposal. Overdue progress payments may result in suspension of design/website works in progress until all amounts in arrears (including interest) are paid in full.

1.14 (i) Stylographic Design reserves the right to recover all costs associated with recovering unpaid invoices, including legal and administrative costs.
(ii) Stylographic Design reserves the right to recover intellectual property in cases where there is non-payment by any means it sees fit.

1.15 Stylographic Design reserves the right to revise and or alter initial quotes based on changes in website scope, changes or additional work provided by the client in addition to quote provided.

1.16 Stylographic Design reserves the right to have their “Website Design Liverpool by Stylographic Design” or a credit similar subject to Stylographic Designs desecration in all footers of websites Designed by Stylographic. This can be removed at the users/customers discretion for a fee of £50.

2. Limitation of Liability

2.1 All terms and conditions, warranties, undertakings inducements and representations, whether express or implied, statutory or otherwise relating to the provision of services by Stylographic Design not contained in the Agreement are excluded and Stylographic Design WILL NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE (INCLUDING CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE) HOWEVER CAUSED (WHETHER BY NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) WHICH MAY BE SUFFERED OR INCURRED OR WHICH MAY ARISE DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY with respect to the service.

2.2 Where any applicable legislation implies any term, condition or warranty into the Agreement or in respect of Stylographic Design’s relationship with you, or otherwise gives you a particular remedy against Stylographic Design and the legislation or any other legislation renders void or prohibits provisions excluding or modifying the application of, exercise of, or liability under such implied term, condition, warranty or remedy will be deemed to be included in the Agreement or as the case may require apply to the relationship between Stylographic Design and you. However, Stylographic Design’s liability for any such breach of such implied term, condition or warranty or under such remedy, will be limited, at Stylographic Design’s option, in any one or more of the ways permitted in that legislation, including, where so permitted if the breach relates to Services the supplying of those services again.

2.3 You acknowledge that web sites cannot be guaranteed to be 100% error free in construction, and acknowledge that any errors falling short of a complete failure of consideration in the site shall not constitute a reason to terminate this agreement.

3. Suspension of Services

3.1 Stylographic Design reserves the right to suspend services in any event where you fail to perform your obligations under this agreement. If payment for services is not received within the terms of payment stated by us, websites may be taken down until payment is confirmed.

3.2 Stylographic Design may from time to time and without notice or liability to you suspend any of the services if the reason for doing so is an event beyond the reasonable control of Stylographic Design.

4. Termination

4.1 Stylographic Design may discontinue services if an amount payable to Stylographic Design is overdue, or take down a website permanently in any case where an amount payable is overdue by more than 7 days. In any such event, you remain liable for the total cost of the contract including all disbursements; unless otherwise agreed between the parties.

5. Contents of Web Pages and Undertakings

5.1 You will be solely responsible for any content of your Web Pages/undertakings. Stylographic Design is not responsible for proofreading any content unless specifically agreed.

5.2 It is your responsibility to ensure that Web Site content or functionality meets your requirements. Stylographic Design makes no representations to you concerning the content or functionality of your Web Site

5.3 If you provide Stylographic Design with data, goods, material, photographs, film or information to be used in any form, you hereby warrant that these do not infringe the rights of third parties and indemnify Stylographic Design against any action taken against Stylographic Design by any such third party.

5.4 Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you agree not to infringe the copyright trademark, privacy or personal or proprietary rights of third parties, supply libellous, abusive, obscene material or disparage the products or services of any third party.

5.5 Stylographic Design for its part hereby undertakes not to knowingly infringe the rights of third parties in activities conducted on your behalf.

5.6 You are solely responsible for dealing with persons who access your data or webpage and warrant that you will not refer complaints or inquiries in relation to such data to us.

5.7 You acknowledge that web design and development work does not include the tasks and jobs of SEO (Search Engine optimisation) and W3C validation. These are separate jobs and if you want these to be undertaken by Stylographic Design, you will have to agree with Stylographic Design in writing and will be subject to separate and extra cost.

6. Technical Support, Changes and Maintenance

6.1 Technical assistance will be offered via email. You acknowledge that all technical or support or maintenance queries will be sent by you via email to support@stylographicdesign.co.uk

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 All files created remain the property of Stylographic Design.

7.2 Stylographic Design retains the Copyright in and the right to use all artwork created in advancing the profile of Stylographic Design and to be recognised for artwork created by Stylographic Design.

8. CANCELLATION AND TERMINATION

(a) Cancellation of an agreed quotation or proposal by you must be communicated to Stylographic Design both by telephone and in writing (letter, fax or email).

(b) Once design work has commenced, the deposit is not refundable. Where the project is cancelled at your request, any costs accrued by Stylographic Design over and above the deposit will be invoiced to you and will be due and payable immediately.

(c) Where design work has been agreed to and the project is cancelled at your request and where the design work has not yet commenced, a termination fee of 25% of the agreed quotation or proposal or the total of costs accrued by Stylographic Design to date will apply (whichever is greater).

(d)(i) Works in progress can be postponed at your request in writing. All outstanding costs to date will be invoiced to you and be payable immediately.

(d)(ii) Where you postpone a project in accordance with clause (d)(i) of this section, work will be restarted and completed at your instruction in accordance with the specifications of the original quotation.

(d)(iii) Notwithstanding clause (d)(ii) of this section, work resumed after postponement will be subject to cost revision. Work will not restart until revised costing (if any) has been agreed to in writing.

(e) Stylographic Design reserves the right to terminate services where (i) there are outstanding invoices, or (ii) there is a material breach of these terms and conditions.

(f) Stylographic Design will be entitled to cancel any agreement with you where you become insolvent, enter into voluntary arrangements with creditors, enter receivership or cease trading for any reason. This will be done without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to Stylographic Design. Amounts owing will be invoiced and immediately due and payable.

1. Introduction

The Website Owner including subsidiaries and affiliates offer website
hosting and database hosting services subject
to the terms and conditions set out in these terms and conditions, the privacy
policy and any other relevant terms and conditions, policies and notices which
may be applicable to supply of hosting services.

2. Glossary of Terms

We includes the Website Owner – www.stylographicdesign.co.uk
– ("Website" or "Website Owner" or "we" or "us"
or "our") or any party acting on the Website Owner’s implicit instructions.
You ("you", "your", "Customer") includes
the person purchasing the services or any party acting on the customer’s instructions.
Server means the computer server equipment operated by us in connection
with the provision of the Services.
Web Site means the area on the Server allocated by us to you for use by
you as a site on the Internet.
In consideration of the mutual covenants herein, the parties agree to the following,
which shall apply during the term of this agreement

3. Web Site Hosting And Email

3.1 We make no representation and give no warranty as to the
accuracy or quality of information received by any person via the Server and we
shall have no liability for any loss or damage to any data stored on the Server.
3.2 You shall effect and maintain adequate insurance cover in respect
of any loss or damage to data stored on the Server.
3.3 You represent, undertake and warrant to us that you will use
the Web Site allocated to you only for lawful purposes. In particular, you represent,
warrant and undertake to us that.
3.3.1 You will not use the Server in any manner which infringes
any law or regulation or which infringes the rights of any third party, nor will
you authorise or permit any other person to do so.
3.3.2 You will not post, link to or transmit:

(a) any material which is unlawful, threatening, abusive, malicious, defamatory,
obscene, blasphemous, profane or otherwise objectionable in any way.
(b) any material containing a virus or other hostile computer program.
(c) any material which constitutes, or encourages the commission of, a criminal
offence or which infringes any patent, trade mark, design right, copyright or
any other intellectual property right or similar rights of any person which may
subsist under the laws of any jurisdiction.

3.3.3 You will not send bulk email whether opt-in or otherwise
from our network. Nor will you promote a site hosted on our network using bulk email.
3.3.4 You will not employ programs which consume excessive system
resources, including but not limited to processor cycles and memory.
3.4 We reserve the right to remove any material which we deem inappropriate
from your web site without notice. We do not host Warez or illegal MP3 content.
3.5 You shall keep secure any identification, password and other
confidential information relating to your account and shall notify us immediately
of any known or suspected unauthorised use of your account or breach of security,
including loss, theft or unauthorised disclosure of your password or other security
information.
3.6 You shall observe the procedures which we may from time to
time prescribe and shall make no use of the Server which is detrimental to our other
customers.
3.7 You shall procure that all mail is sent in accordance with
applicable legislation (including data protection legislation) and in a secure manner.
3.8 In the case of an individual User, you warrant that you are
at least 16 years of age and if the User is a company, you warrant that the Services
will not be used by anyone under the age of 16 years.
3.9 Any access to other networks connected to www.stylographicdesign.co.uk
must comply with the rules appropriate for those other networks.
3.10 While we will use every reasonable endeavour to ensure the
integrity and security of the Server, we do not guarantee that the Server will be
free from unauthorised users or hackers and we shall be under no liability for non-receipt
or misrouting of email or for any other failure of email.

4.
Service Availability

4.1 We shall use our reasonable endeavours to make available to
you at all times the Server and the Services but we shall not, in any event, be
liable for interruptions of Service or down-time of the Server.
4.2 We shall have the right to suspend the Services at any time
and for any reason, generally without notice, but if such suspension lasts or is
to last for more than 7 days you will be notified of the reason.
4.3 The Services provided to you hereunder and your account with
us cannot be transferred or used by anyone other than you. No more than one log-in
session under any one account may be used at any time by you. If you have multiple
accounts, you are limited to one login session per system account at any time; user
programs may be run only during log-in sessions. If your account is found to have
been transferred to another party, or shows other activity in breach of this sub
clause, we shall have the right to cancel the account and terminate the Services
and/or this Agreement immediately.

5. Payment

5.1 All charges payable by you for the Services
shall be in accordance with the scale of charges and rates published from time to
time by us on our web site and shall be due and payable in advance of our service
provision. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time although all pricing
is guaranteed for the period of pre payment.
5.2 Payment is due each anniversary month, quarter or year following
the date the Services were established until closure notice is given. If you choose
to pay by credit or debit card you authorise www.stylographicdesign.co.uk
to debit your account renewal fees from your card.
5.3 All payments must be in UK Pounds Sterling, US Dollars or Euros.
5.4 If your cheque is returned by the bank as unpaid for any reason,
you will be liable for a “returned cheque” charge of £25.00.
5.5 Without prejudice to our other rights and remedies under this
Agreement, if any sum payable is not paid on or before the due date, we shall be
entitled forthwith to suspend the provision of Services to you.
5.6 If an account goes unpaid for at least seven days, a £10.00
late payment fee will be applied.
5.7 If an account goes unpaid for at least ten days, the account
and its associated services are suspended. A £20.00 charge will be applied upon
account reactivation to cover administration costs.
5.8 Once an account has a suspended status, Access to files, databases
and other content is explicitly denied. All files, databases and other content including
the account itself is permanently deleted after ten days of account suspension.
5.9 Should access to files, databases and other content be required
before they are deleted, account reactivation will be required.

6.
Termination

6.1 If you fail to pay any sums due to us as they
fall due, we may suspend the Services and/or terminate this Agreement forthwith
without notice to you.
6.2 If you break any of these terms and conditions we may suspend
the Services and/or terminate this Agreement forthwith without notice to you.
6.3 If you are a company and you go into insolvent liquidation
or suffer the appointment of an administrator or administrative receiver or enter
into a voluntary arrangement with your creditors, we shall be entitled to suspend
the Services and/or terminate this Agreement forthwith without notice to you.
6.4 No refunds will be made for Services suspended in accordance
with 6.1, 6.2 and 6.3.
6.5 We reserve the right to suspend the Services and/or terminate
this Agreement at any time.
6.6 You may cancel the Services at any time.
6.7 You may be entitled to a complete refund of all fees paid with
the exclusion of dedicated server and data transfer fees should You decide to cancel
the Services, as detailed under our Money Back Guarantee Policy. You will not be
entitled to a refund on this basis if you have previously had an account with www.stylographicdesign.co.uk.
It may be necessary to with hold refund under the Money Back Guarantee Policy if
the account has utilised excessive resources, this is at the sole discretion of
www.stylographicdesign.co.uk.
6.8 Where payment has been made by credit or debit card, any refund
will only be issued to the same credit or debit card.
6.9 On termination of this Agreement or suspension of the Services
we shall be entitled immediately to block your Web Site and to remove all data located
on it.

7. Indemnity

7.1 You shall indemnify us and keep us indemnified
and hold us harmless from and against any breach by you of these terms of business
and any claim brought against us by a third party resulting from the provision of
Services by us to you and your use of the Services and the Server including, without
limitation, all claims, actions, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, costs,
expenses (including reasonable legal costs and expenses), howsoever suffered or
incurred by us in consequences of your breach or non-observance of this Agreement.

8. Limitation
Of Liability

8.1 All conditions, terms, representations and
warranties relating to the Services supplied under this Agreement, whether imposed
by statute or operation of law or otherwise, that are not expressly stated in these
terms and conditions including, without limitation, the implied warranty of satisfactory
quality and fitness for a particular purpose are hereby excluded, subject always
to subclause 8.2.
8.2 Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude our liability
for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
8.3 Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim in contract,
tort, negligence or otherwise arising out of or in connection with the provision
of the Services shall be limited to the charges paid by you in respect of the Services
which are the subject of any such claim.
8.4 In any event no claim shall be brought unless you have notified
us of the claim within one year of it arising.
8.5 In no event shall we be liable to you for any loss of business,
contracts, profits or anticipated savings or for any other indirect or consequential
or economic loss whatsoever

9. Revisions

10. Notices

the other may be sent by either email, fax or recorded delivery to the address of
the other party as appearing in this Agreement or ancillary application forms or
such other address as such party may from time to time have communicated to the
other in writing, and if sent by email shall unless the contrary is proved be deemed
to be received on the day it was sent or if sent by fax shall be deemed to be served
on receipt of an error free transmission report, or if sent by recorded delivery
shall be deemed to be served two days following the date of posting.

11. Applicable
Law

11.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed
in accordance with English law and you hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction
of the English courts.

12. Headings

12.1 Headings are included in this Agreement for
convenience only and shall not affect the construction or interpretation of this
Agreement.

13. Entire
Agreement

13.1 These terms and conditions together with
any documents expressly referred to in them, contain the entire Agreement between
us relating to the subject matter covered and supersede any previous Agreements,
arrangements, undertakings or proposals, written or oral: between us in relation
to such matters. No oral explanation or oral information given by any party shall
